As a member of Generation Z, I have grown up with the looming threat of climate change constantly hanging over my head. It often feels as if we are suffocating in a world filled with garbage and pollution, and it is hard not to feel a sense of hopelessness and despair about the future. Therefore, this photo reflects the emotion of angst, the sense of anxiety, and the uncertainty that comes with being a member of Generation Z during this time of crisis.



Additionally, the purple lighting in this photo adds to the sense of unease and otherworldliness, creating a sense of disorientation and isolation. It is a reminder of the ways in which we become 

disconnected from the natural world and from each other, and the importance of finding ways to reconnect and rebuild those 

relationships.
