“KOPFKINO” - inner or head cinema
German expression referring to situations in which one´s mind creates mental images and even movies
“Kopfkino” aimed to explore the concept of identity and how it is formed. Through the project, I wanted to examine how our sense of self is influenced by the world around us and the vivid mental images and scenarios that we experience in our imagination.
In order to capture each individual’s distinctive style and personality, took and edited each photograph used in my project. By doing so, I was able to have control over the final product and showcase the diverse range of human identity.
To visually represent this idea, I chose to use bright and vibrant colors in the background of my pieces. By doing so, I hoped to
emphasize the unique features of each individual and create a sense of liveliness and vitality. Additionally, I utilized color as a way to better explain my design choices when arranging my work.
Overall, my project was a reflection of my interest in exploring complex themes through art. I hope that my use of color and careful selection of photographs will inspire viewers to contemplate their own sense of self and how it is influenced by the world around them.
